This and the times I have walked past it, the place has been a mess. It's not like you can't see in the windows... A bona fide premium location in easy spittin' distance of all the major venues in town - just tons of potential. Unfortunate, IMHO.

This is funny because I will be staying in Warwick this coming Saturday night and was wondering a good place to get good beer. Went to college in Providence but wasn't a beer guy at the time.

In Warwick you have Track 84 (awesome beers but very limited food) and Doherty's Ale House (100+ taps of decent beer and good food).

As Pegli said, if you're in Warwick you need to go to Track 84. Best taps in the whole state and good prices. No food though.

I am bashing Trinity because it sucks. I can't decide which is worse, the beer or the food, they are both rubbish. I REALLY wish it wasn't this way because as LeRose said it's in such a great location. Unfortunately, from my vantage point, it is true.

Just wanted to update the Federal Hill conversation. This weekend I was up there and apparently this past week a new Federal Taphouse + Kitchen opened this past week in the former Providence Prime location. For beers, they had local (Grey Sail, Bucket, Foolproof) plus other taps such as Arrogant Bastard, FBS, and GI Sofie. 12 taps total, and more numerous bottles available. The food menu consisted of flatbreads, sandwiches and entrees.

The beers were on the pricey side, but if up on Federal Hill with limited options this will hit the spot. The only odd question there was whether I wanted a 16oz or 20oz Breakfast Stout. Obviously the serving sizes are not in line with a typical craft spot...

In other news, Harry's Bar & Burger will be opening a second spot on the Hill around a block from Federal Taphouse. So things are starting to look up around there.

G Pub is pretty good too. Right near JWU's campus. Good food and a pretty good tap list

When talking about Westminister, all I have to say La Bodega MalaseƱa. Incredible on all scales.
