My girlfriend tells me I have two(!?) boxes from Hamilton waiting for me at home.

I'd leave work early but I have a meeting with our CEO until 5...this last few hours is going to be brutal!

I feel your pain, brother, I feel it. I'm so tempted just to unpack everything onto my desk now and take a photo.

Well, not like I can concentrate on work. Here it is:

    L - R:
    Anchorage - Galaxy White IPA
Le Castor - Wee Heavy Bourbon Grand Reserve
Les Brasseurs Du Temps - Obscur Desir
Les Brasseurs Du Temps - La Scie Troullarde Double
    La Cumbre - Elevated IPA
Blaugies / Hill Farmstead - La Vermontoise
Fat Heads - Head Hunter IPA
    Les Clandestines - Farigola
    Alchemist - Heady Topper
    Brash Brewing - Item Nine
    Le Castor - Yakima IPA
    Beau - Two Weeks Notice

The only beer I'm remotely familiar with here is the Anchorage White IPA - which I loved and found myself wishing I had more of a couple months back - everything else is brand new and I'm genuinely excited to try all of them. Some Vancouver folks are going to be drinking very well over the next couple weeks

    Thank you so much Philippe!

=8-o "Unbelievable" has been raised to almost "unfathomable"! Not surprised to say that it was my first thought when the alarm went off at its godforsaken 4am this morning, but have finally opened and enjoyed that truly benchmark DIPA. Thank-you!! As a reasonably well-travelled beer lover I can't explain why we've never made the trip to Vermont, but now I'm ready to consider moving there ...

If my count if good, there is 7 outstanding boxes out of 27 so we are doing really good!

Glad you like. The Winter Jacket was bought before Muskoka had lable tags printed up for it. I think they renamed it "Winter Jack" as well, but it's the same beer.

Up until a year ago, I lived in Calgary and still get back quite a bit (and grab a lot beer). Since moving, I usually like to mix up trades a little more with some local Ontario and some of the crazy stuff available in Alberta. That wasn't an option this with you being in the Chuck, so I'm glad I was able to find enough beers from Ontario that you haven't had.

    Cheers!

I finally got home to find an expertly packaged box from CurtisD!

    Propeller Double IPA
    Picaroons Harvest
    Gahan House 1772 IPA
    Picaroon's glassware
    Picaroons Yippee IPA
Propeller Bitter (only beer of the batch I've ever had and it's great)
    Propeller IPA
Garrison One Hop IPA - citra
    Garisson Baltic Porter
    Propeller Porter
    Boxing Rock Vicar's Cross
    Uncle Leo's IPA

Not only have I not tried all of these except one, but i havent even heard of the last 2 breweries. Thanks a lot Curtis!

Also, Lurkaholic's desk looks exactly like the ones we have our office in Vancouver...but I guess everyone has those.

Also, my target can expect a delivery in the morning.

I'll be honest, I've never seen these desks anywhere else in Vancouver before - and I don't know of many software companies with offices in both SK (presumably regina) and Vancouver beyond ours... It would be pretty crazy but I think chances are fairly good we might work for the same company! I've sent a BM over. Let's see if we know each other... :-)

Glad it made it to you safe and sound!

Yes, Boxing Rock and Uncle Leo's are very new breweries out here, both actually located in rural Nova Scotia....the Boxing Rock bottle is from either their first or second ever batch of that particular beer...they just started shipping to stores a couple of weeks ago. Uncle Leo's is pretty much a one-man operation, however Greg Nash, the notorious Halifax-based brewer for both Rockbottom Brewpub and the Hart & Thistle Gastropub, helped out with that one and it's already got a cult following out here.

    Cheers!

We do. I'm filing a report with HR about you having beer at work. (And not drinking the companies supplied beer obviously)

Im not saying it fades fast, but I've never had one sit for more than a couple days in my fridge. Quality IPA.

I work in Ontario - I should probably get in on this next year.

Awesome box from dresden (not the city but the cool BA) arrived! Thanks so much!!!!

I haven't had any of these beers, and really excited to try them. Definitely nailed this box.

    From Left to Right

Stone Smoked Porter BBQ sauce (love Stone beers, and spice, so should be great)
    Bell's Expedition Stout
    Bushwakker Chico IPA
    Bushwakker Pickards Oatmeal Stout
Bushwakker Raspberry Porter (heard good things about the brewery =) )
    Paddock Wood 1000 Monkeys
Paddock Wood Barrel Full of Monkeys (was kicking myself that I didn't buy these beers on an Edmonton trip, too much lambic filling up my bags)
Flying Monkeys Bare Naked Ladies Imperial Chocolate Stout
Heady Topper (has been a huge want for years!)
    Surly Overrated
Surly Furious (only had the Abrasive from Surly which is mind blowing)
Last but not least De Molen's Hel en Verdoemenis 666 (brings back great memories of drinking at De Molen's Borefts festival)

    Cheers!
