Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates

I met a BA earlier this week who managed to find this on shelves by him. I'm looking forward to catching up with him again next time he is in town and giving this a try.

Looking at my review on the other site, I had Batch #39 Well Read on 11/2/12. The RB description says 10/16 for the bottle date.

Funky Blue Lady was #31.

 

Any suggestions on where i could possibly get some of the OTA out in the southwest suburbs?

 

OTA doesnt sit on shelves. The next batch should be hitting the burbs within the next week or 2 I would assume.

 

Beer Temple has some but you would have to come to the city.

 

Hows the parking situation over at that beer temple.. I think I might hit that up this weekend

 

Parking in back for free and they also have free street parking. If they happen to be out and you are already in the city check West Lakeview Liqour as it is not to far away.

 

Just an FYI for anyone still looking for CTA, Castle Vav (Lincoln Park Binnys) has just about two cases out. Was there this morning. Cheers!

 

i've had a 39 and 83 recently and they were both fine. With that being said we found some bottle variation in 83 so I can't say that they'd all be fine. Also, with flower child I don't know if you it is 'spores' you are seeing but rather protein coagulate, which we noticed as well.

 

I only referenced them as 'spores' because that's what the round white floaties looked like.

 

So Pipeworks isn't just a front then to pump us full of alien spores. Good to know.

Damn dude! You've been on a roll the last few weeks. Finally scoring some of those "hard to come by" Pipeworks brews. Did you hit up Kumas after/before the Beer Temple? One of the best 1-2 combos in the city IMO.

 

Everyone in this thread should be rooting for Infinite1 with every pipeworks release. a) good chicago vibes, i dig the enthusiasm, b) i'm pretty sure he drinks those beers instead of stuffing em in a cellar, c) beer temple is great, d) cheers buddy.

Beer Temple plus anything is one of the best 1-2 combos in the city. Hopefully the really cool guy from DC I sat with at Half Acre for hours last night will make it there before he leaves today.
