Julio's posted on there Facebook that they have HU 6 packs in. Anyone see these on the South Shore MA area yet?

Actually, seems like at Julio's the 6 pack is $1 cheaper than the 4 pack.

The question is - do they care? I think probably not.

I'm not sure what the price was. I picked up a few other items as well and my receipt only has my total purchase cost on it.

i agree that it's bizarre to imagine that peeper is selling enough at the price they send it out at... surely they would make more money selling 6packs at a more reasonable price (and more quickly).

that said, when it comes to MBC (which i'm often guilty of), don't miss the forest for the trees. as long as fresh lunch moves fast enough that i find it at 1 week old, i'll pay $9 for a bottle. yeah, every beer jack's abby has ever released is a better value, but you're not getting a better DIPA than fresh lunch unless you just took a trip to VT or NEBCO. if you're not going to buy it, someone else with good taste and enough $$$ will. (provided, again, they don't make so much that all you can find is too-old stock)

    ----

    anyway, jack's abby 6ers = awesome.

I'm pretty much with you on the MBC. I do buy Lunch/Mo/Another One when I see it VERY fresh, I'll say however, that imo Mass Rising is every bit as good or better than any of MBCs beers.
    imo...

yeah, while i was writing that post, i did pause a bit when thinking about kiwi rising (unfortunately i didn't pause enough to catch all the typos and word omissions)... it's a stretch to say that lunch is even better at all than the best JA IPLs, much less better enough to justify paying the cost of a 4pk for 1 bottle.

still though, "business model" wise, until the market is just loaded with fresh, amazing IPAs (which i doubt it ever will be), there will always be someone to buy that week old lunch. still kind of scratch my head re: who's buying all the flagships... at least in CT and NY where they languish on shelves for months. but, who knows.

Awesome news. Great beer for a great price. Hoponius is definitely one of my favorite, go-to beers. I almost always have some in my beer fridge.

Just had a 12oz from most recent batch, late September dated , wow it was good! I always forget how tasty it is. For being an IPL it contenders with top IPAs no problem.

Had some Hoponious 12 oz bottled 10/3 over the weekend, excellent stuff when fresh. Will be on the lookout for Jabby Brau, haven't seen it around here yet.
