Full disclosure, I have 5 bottles so far.

 

I didn't think id get a bottle this year, but I got two last night at Maria's in bridgeport not even looking for it. happy hunting.

 

Heads up, FW stouts don't age well so if you're stocking up be sure to drink within the next few months. They typically have a 4-6 month window before they really start to fall off.

If anyone is near the Algonquin Binny's, They currently have about 10 Merkins as of now. They also have some Pipeworks OTA and Game of Jones if interested. Just a courteous heads up.

Nah, Haha, my buddy was actually in the area having dinner with his fiance, stopped in afterward and then gave me a call to ask if I wanted anything they got in. I live about 5 min from the Lake Zurich Binny's.

 

I just grabbed a Merkin from LZ earlier today

 

Nice, so they did get some in. Scott, one of the beer guys at LZ, was worried that their distributor screwed them over on their shipment. I like those guys there but it seems half the time they have no idea what's going on.

 

Yeah I think thats just the way it goes around here, my local Binny's (Algonquin) is pretty much the same way.

 

That's how every beer manager feels about FW's Chicago area distributor(s).
