West coasters don't say hi to Midwest do we? I thought we threw the beers at at each other and whoever drops them loses.

If it helps, I remember Barry, he was the best.

Why would you stand in line? It's not like it's gonna sell out.

What a fucking blast. That is the way a party should be ran. Cheers to Laura for putting on a killer party and to the Michigan Brew Crew for a great time in general.

Fantastic festival by Bells, everyone was awesome and the beers were flowing non-stop, can't wait for All Stouts Day.

My wallet disagrees with me, but this was a great event. BA Expo and BA Dagger stout were both really good, and the Black Currant Oarsman was my favorite of the Oarsman varieties.Of course Raspberry Wild One is always a treat when it is on tap.

Absolutely awesome event however I have some serious questions after the line up today. The DCS variants were delicious and the -bal Expedition may legitimately be the best -bal stout out there. Why does Bell's blend the two? Throw the Expo in barrels and add the chocolate and cherries to the DCS, this would be an acceptable Black Note replacement.

Let's add this to our next "Drinking with Laura" agenda. Seems like our wish list has pretty much been fulfilled. I'm sad I missed another excellent Bell's event, but I'm sure there will be more.

Best one me and a few others had was the 2010 BB Exp Stout. Maybe better than the year old Black Note.

That's exactly what we told Laura when drinking with her today.
