I also got Buxton Special Reserve V Wyoming Sheep Ranch today.

Many sheep ranches actually in Wyoming, Bill?

Sheep ranches have been on the decline since 1940 from what I've read. I've not seen one.

Nothing for me tonight. It's Dad's taxi time. But tomorrow its The Hanging Bat for a liquid lunch.

Cash in hand and let out twenty mins early I grabbed a swift half/stein in the Port Street bar
where a pint of Abor's Tasmanian Devil was clearly good hoppy unusual stuff
but was also clearly tapped more than four days ago
because of this disappointment I tried half of Summer Wine's Teleporter which
though a lot easier on the wallet was still a note quite bang on
still having ten minutes for the bus
I put in a hefty investment(well for a half) with Stone's Levitation on tap.

This was a big taste hit that stayed on the tongue all the way home.

Oh yes! As long as they haven't been mislaid for too long before reaching you, then you'll have no regrets.

As for me, I'm currently drinking Tucher Pils. Subtle but nice; a cut above many German macros....

Had a Hardknott Infra red again - it drinks like one of my lesser homebrews. Over carbonated, bitter with no real flavour to back it up. Third one I've tried too

    Also two homebrews, overcarbed too

    and some wine

Yeah - I like the hop character in Infra Red but the yeast seems a bit out of control in most Hardknott brews.

I'm now having a Little Valley Bitter - it's a bit sour (not the first of their beers where I've encountered this).

Alone in the flat for tonight, and when the cat's away the mice will drink.

Starting with a Siren Limoncello IPA. American sour freaks would love this, lots of lemon, little carbonation on the palate and amazingly drinkable for 9.1%. In fact it really shocked me that it was that high.

My long shifts over for this week
let's have it large with Red Willow's Double IPA
    'Ageless'

It's tasty stuff - the sourness and hops blend nicely. I'm quite looking forward to trying Kernel's London Sour....

I'm just having RedWillow's Witless now. A lemongrass wheat beer - it's disappointing. Flat, insipid and slightly sour (I suspect unintentionally). About half the RedWillow brews I've tried have been flawed in some way; makes me think I'm gambling when I pick one up....

I haven't tried the new batch of Mosaic IPA yet but in the past it's been amazing.
