I swear I've seen it downtown, but I could just be going crazy waiting on breakfast stout. Also why the fuck is Founders Porter not here? That's a year round beer, right?

When I was in New Jersey last November a store had 2 full pallets of FBS. Same can be said about most cities I've visited. Shelf turd. Fully expect to see FT: FBS 4 pack ISO: DDG b1 and/or Don Q in the next week or 2.

Bek wants reds rye depleted before putting out fbs? How long ago to reds even get to shelves? I feel like it was recent. I think that whole practice is counterproductive. Well customer likes item a from brewery a so therefore he must surely like item b. do they not understand that while some breweries make only outstanding product most breweries make some standouts with several duds? Just because one item sells or doesn't does not dictate the whole brand. Also, more than likely the reason reds rye didn't sell to begin with was because it sat in the damned warehouse waiting for something else to sell!!! Now it's lost all it's character sitting in warm warehouses. This same bullshit happens with real ale every year with coffee porter, and now the brewers cut releases. Ben e Keith, please follow instructions and remove head from ass

Drive to Corpus. I'm pretty sure its still at Liquid Town unless Lutter hoarded it all.

I actually prefer to rather fresh. Love hibernation with 0-4 or 5 months on it but after that I feel it loses too much of its spice character. I went through my previous case last year and am looking forward to another this year. The only issue is it now is competing with FBS which I also love fresh. Oh the decisions.

Ha. My wife grew up around the corner. Needless to say, she's BFFs with the owner.

I haven't been there in years myself. She's the little hoarder, lol.

I thought they were canceling Choklat or was that just Oat and Mokah? Get to enjoy last years batch and compare to this fresh batch

I felt that Choklat was tasty, but had a bit of a artificial chocolate flavor. Like Tootsie Rolls. Mokah takes Choklat and blends in a nice coffee taste. Can't detect the artificial as much.
