Yeah, I was the guy that stopped by your brewery with HopsMatt. If people are hating on you, then that just means you're making waves. You guys (and girls) make a great product, so just let that speak for you. Don't get caught up in the bullshit, just keep doing what you do best. Make beer great by making great beer! Cheers

Thanks for the replies. I'll be sure to check out those stores.

Can anyone recommend a bar that will have a few of their beers on tap? I plan on checking out hopleaf but they don't have anything from them on tap now.

Tough one. Doesn't seem like they regularly release kegs. I have had ninja vs unicorn on draft at Map Room (many moons ago), but doesn't look like they have any PW on draft now. I would email them directly if they don't reply here. Or follow their twitter feed. You're more likely to find them doing a tasting at a liquor store.

this, pretty much. pipeworks on tap is a difficult find; you do often see them at local option's special events but i don't think there's one coming up in the near future. just buy the bottles.

Had Pipeworks recent release N v. U Pajama Party this weekend. Very nice Black IPA. Collaboration with Begyle

Gotta say, ever since PWs announced the taproom, I've been so amped.

    The reason?

They said low abv beers! I can not wait to see what you guys do on the pale ale side of things. My goal is take the train into the city, fill 2 growlers. And drink my way back to the burbs without needing a ride home.

Ya, I'll probably run into friends and stay in the city. So that'll never happen haha. But I'd love to be able to finish a few of your ales without risking a blackout. So pumped to try your session beers.

Always confident in these guys. Like before, I'm sure your customers will support this transition and allow you guys to play around and isolate exactly it is you want your session beers to taste like. I'd say there's a pretty good precedent we can all look at.

Will any of the lower ABV beers get bottled (or God help us, canned)? or will these be taproom tasting/growler fills only? too lazy to look back in the thread to see if it was mentioned.

I think I remember some talk of canning in my lurking. Not 100% though

It's probably the revamped higher abv Nisperos de Batata. The original to me was a slightly more hoppy Pumkingesque beer

Earlier Beer Temple posted a pic showing Reaper vs Unicorn and I couldn't exactly make out the other bottle, which now looks like Batata Obscura

I had the original and it was good. A little too sweet but very desert like

Isn't that the beer that almost killed Beejay last time they brewed it?
