Started with a Founders breakfast stout, hoptimum GL burning river and now on prima pils for the rest of the night while watching the draft. Go Steelers!

First opened some Klinker Brick Zinfindel 2009 with some aged Gouda but the Zin was too heavy on figs and cherries for me. I love Zins but it wasn't hitting the spot so I let the GF finish it off and I opened some Smuttynose Finest Kind.

Got to try some Tallgrass beers earlier tonight, really enjoyed the Buffalo Sweat. Followed that up with a Mary's Maple Porter at the Brooklyn Brewery.

Relaxing at home for the night now with an Eclipse EC18 courtesy of FunkyMacGroovin. This one's impressing me a bit more than the Evan Williams version I had a few months ago.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the Tallgrass series of brew, what others did you try from them? Oasis? Velvet Rooster?

Eluvetie is amazing! And the petrus is intense. I'm not really into sours, so it just tasted like a granny smith apple covered in vinegar to me. If you like sours, go for it! It's interesting to drink a recipe that was collaborated with Michael Jackson (the dead beer guy, not the dead crotch grab guy/girl.)

:grinning: :grinning: :grinning: :grinning: Thats freaking great! On the beer side of things I really haven't acquired a taste for the sours yet, thanks for sharing the info so I can spend my hard earned money on what I do enjoy! And you are right, Eluvetie is amazing, will be seeking more of their music for sure. Cheers ~
