I'm sure anything from Kane will find welcome reception.

At the party, will the 7 tastes be attributed 1 to each variant or will it be a free for all similar to the initiation party? I guess I am just trying to figure out if I need to make a dash towards the types I want to try most to ensure one doesn't run out early. I'd be really psyched if everyone was given the same set 7 so we can all just relax and enjoy the great beer.

Its usually a free for all, and they don't usually run out.

Then you should be really psyched.

If I can grab some bottles from Kane I'll bring em, but will most likely bring some cans of Boat Beer from Carton Brewing since they're 5 mins from my house.

That is awesome, thanks for the heads up Matt. I am banking on Black Tuesday with Boysenberry stealing the show, can't wait.

So is there..this may seem silly...anywhere to have a decent beer BESIDES The Bruery in Placentia or really near The Bruery?
I'll be staying in a hotel nearby and don't plan on driving but a cab ride isn't out of the question.
I was hoping to have a beer before and/or after the session on Tuesday.

Also if anybody has an extra tkt to see to the early Tuesday session I'd be very grateful if I could buy it.

Bootleggers is not far at all in Fullerton(?). I would say they are more the IPA type place to go while the Bruery is BA and Sour land, at least for RS members. Both have great offerings

Noble Ale Works isn't very far either. About a 10 minute cab ride.

    Cheers!

Go to Noble and not Bootleggers. Bootleggers sucks.

Another +1 for Noble. Noble will probably be a $30-40 cab ride round trip from the Bruery. Depending on where your hotel room is, a few more destinations are possible.

Anyone else staying at the Fairfield Inn behind The Bruery on Sat? Bottle share? I plan on hitting Noble and if I feel like driving might head out to Hangar 24. 'Might' is the key word.

Thats a long drive to be making after drinking. Just sayin CHP will screw you up if you're not very careful.

Agreed. 2-3 hour round trip drive seems a little sketchy if you already threw down for a hotel room. If noble isn't enough, Valiant Brewing is pretty close by as well, but closer still is The Catch, owned by the folks that own Taps.

Thanks guys I like some Bootleggers beers but Noble is really close.
I'll be there (Noble) after the early session Tuesday if anybody wants to join.

Yeah thats why I said might. It would be after an evening nap and some food but more than likely I will stay local. I keep hearing good things about Noble and I just havent made it there in past trips so this may be the time I finally get there.

Noble would be much more manageable than hangar 24, the former being a $40ish cab ride round trip, the latter being about 60 miles away.
