You guys. I'm so excited. I just got 2 free tickets to dark lord tomorrow! It doesnt have a group on it, it says COMP which I think I read earlier meant I can pick up DL with any group? Can anyone confirm this?

I'm so excited to be there with you all, this will be my first DLD and I was certain it wasnt going to happen for me this year!

 

Ive never seen the tickets but from my understanding, COMP tickets can be used at any time. You may even be able to jump the line from the exit, but not sure on that. How did you get them?

 

A buddy got a bunch for free last night at work for some reason. Its a Dark lord day miracle!

 

I'm going to bed because I've got to leave at 3am for this cluster, but if anyone wants to sell some or all of their allocation of 2012 DL on their way out, bm me here ahead of time, or as you're leaving....

 

I'm bringing a growler of Haymarket's Mathias DIPA, Rye on Rye, Sucaba, and a couple of Pipeworks recent releases, perhaps something else as well. Probably will be layered up but plan to wear a Half Acre sweatshirt tomorrow.

If i plan on waking up in 4 hours, i should go to sleep....right after i check all the threads again.

 

Heading to my first dld tomorrow. Kinda feels like Christmas eve.

 

Another year and some more good fun, hopefully it runs as smooth as last year. Fingers crossed....

 

I'm not sure what the deal is with the tasting tents, as this is my first one but my buddy and I are bringing some Ginger Twin by Half Acre, Detour DIPA by Uinta, and Red Eye Coffee Porter by Two Brothers to trade or sample.

I'll be wearing light brown skinny jeans and my FFF Rye'd Da Lightening hoody and I've got a mullet if anyone cares to say hello and show me to their table/ explain the tent to me there. Looking forward to seeing you guys there!

 

Stopped by the pub tonight expecting it to be crazy crowded...it was actually really laid back and I had an amazing time. Cheers!

I'm going to show up around 8:30 tomorrow. It's my first DLD so I don't have much to offer...just some Columbus Brewing Co. IPA and Hoppin' Frog BORIS and DORIS...if you're interested let me know, I just want to try some new brews!

Someone give me a hint about parking...I've got a backpack for beers to be drank, but some trades will need to happen at the car...how close and/or where should I be able to find a spot at 7am?

 

Its anyones guess. No one knows how many people are going to show up how early. I would say at the very least you should be able to get parking in one of the 2 large parking lots in the buildings in front of FFF, not too bad of a walk to them.
