Great River's Hop*A*Potamus. Nice local from a recent trade.

    Cheers!

Had my first Ten Fidy tonight. That is a GREAT beer. It echoes Kate to me. Kate is a touch smoother with a tiny bit more chocolate and port character, but my god Ted Fidy is delicious. I only have this one and that makes me very sad. Awesome beer!

Exactly, lol. Just realized that this is my first ever Founder's beer as well. Amazing.

Hanssens Oude Gueuze, wowee so balanced. I am a bit behind on the list though so that is my current top sour. Been drinking too many Tripels, but I am not even upset.

Obviously anything you can get from Russian River in trades would be your benchmark. I'll look at my reviews & see if there is anything closer to us...

Had my first Goose Island beer too!

    Bourbon County? No.

Nut Brown Ale. It's ok. I could drink a shit ton of this, but I certainly wouldn't seek it out. Following up Ten Fidy, this had no chance.

It's been a great day after a few days of no drinks. During lunch I had some Mango Mama at Town Hall Brewery. Tonight its been Boom Island Thoprock IPA, Unibroue La Fin Du Monde, Surly Furious and Bitter Brewer. I've been watching the Gary Oldman directed Youtube broadcast of Jack White live in NYC.

Being a BA isn't always rainbows and puppies. I don't hate this beer, but it's not my favourite either. Apple juice, anyone?

Sadly the ones that really spring to mind (Russian River, New Belgium & Odell ) all require out of state trips. Red Bud's Cuvee stuff is nipping right at their heels IMO

As tasty as it gets. If I've got the date correct, I think Satch is on stage up in SF with the original Montrose band right now.
