It is my guess that Dirt Wolf will be a staged distribution. He will likely be able to obtain Dirt Wolf sometime (soon?). Or Dad could fulfill his 'fix' now. His choice.

    Cheers!

    Still a great brewery though.

I use this frequently: http://www.beermenus.com/search?q=russian river . Click on each beer and it shows you the location of where you can find it. Information can be a little stale, but generally RR bottles aren't sold out quickly. If there is one bottle shop to go to in Philly, go to Beer Heaven. I usually find more harder to find beers there. The price is on par with other shops in Philly though, at times more expensive.

Is that 24 cases or cases of 24? A case of 24 would be a great price. A case of 12 not so much.

    Enjoy

He makes quite a lot of money, but he's stingy as hell. He claims he's a Beer Advocate, but he buys beer on clearance after its best by date... not always, but often.

I've seen cases of 12 for under 150$ so...24 for 300$ is ehhh.(Larry David voice)

Is he getting you any growlers from Tired Hands? I suggest you answer "Yes" to this question.

    Not that I know of.

Told him to go to Beer Heaven for beer, since it seems pretty popular.

Beer Heaven is a great store. But you might wNt to prep him for sticker shock when he goes in. It seems to be one of the pricier bottle shops in Philly. Which allows Some of the 'rarer' beers to sit a little longer.

Not flaming here, but I think we do a damn fine job with our beer scene so as it is. To me, there is something to be said about NOT having access to every beer on Planet Earth. But that is just me.

    My dad's haul was this:

    Nothing.

He claimed he went to a few beer stores and they didn't have any of the beer I had on my list.

    Translation:
"$10 for a six-pack!? They must be outta their God damn fuckin' minds!"

He'd have been lucky to find anything on your wishlist for 10 bucks a 6er. More like 3-5 dollars for a single 12oz bottle in most Philly shops. I'm not knocking it. I pay those prices quite a bit if something I want only makes it to Philly. Just being realistic.

    $10/6-pack in Philly = PBR's.

    I think I'll take metro-Detroit then... $9.99 for a six-pack of any of Founders' year-round stuff.

Potentially going to Philly on Thursday-Sunday.
    Looking for some answers-
Is the current season any different than the season the thread was established in, regarding availablavailibility of RusRiv bottles?
Do days of the week matter?
What are my best shots for finding any if I do? (i.e. location)

    Thanks in advance

There's a bar near the Beer Yard in Wayne (don't remember the name but think it started with a "N") that sold bottles. Picked up a supplication on my way back from Lancaster there last year (think it ran around $16). The Beer Yard will sometimes have it too but you'll be buying a whole case of one kind. It's a little hole in the wall place that it back behind a couple other buildings but they have a crap ton of cases of beer and usually have a good variety.

Are cases obnoxious prices like stated above?

Call them and ask. They're a pretty nice group and they usually go above and beyond to help people out.

Next Door, as in Teresas's Next Door? I know they usually have a good bottle selection.

If you can find a case of 24 bottles of Consecration or Supplication for $300, that is actually a good price. That's about $12.50 per bottle. I believe they sell, or used to sell, for about $12 at the brewery. That said, I haven't seen cases of Russian River sours lately but then again I am not really hunting them down.
