Today's bodega beer is Captain Lawrence Freshchester Pale Ale. And they undercharged me for it.

I don't usually use branded glassware unless that's what's in it...

But this new Game of Thrones glass is really cool-looking, and I drank my Take The Black Stout last weekend :stuck_out_tongue:.

Founders Breakfast Stout - a real classic, and drinking real nice this year.

    Still rocking with...

Karhu (or "Bear") is a Finnish Export lager at 5.4% abv. IBUs are slightly lower than the average Swedish Export strenght lager (which typically has a bitterness in the low 20s) but it still has a decent bitterness. What I like about this beer is that it's really bready in its taste, not just generically malty or sweet, which combines with a distinct European or continental hoppiness (the hops remind me of Carlsberg Export, and it just so happens that Carlsberg owns the brewery). Bready malts and hops, it's a tasty and pleasant lager beer.
