Just opened a Founders Imperial Stout. So good!

 

So, per your excellent suggestion, followed with Enjoy By.. seriously hope Hops and Grapes will let me buy more of these tomorrow. I think I might have liked the September run just a hair better but.. Yum regardless. Also per suggestion (I'm so easily influenced) I'll likely cap with Big Foot or Yeti Imp Stout. Nothing is set in stone though. For a costuming night, it's still young. Time to get my Batgirl on before I lose the capability to do so... heh.

I like it. A lot. Different kind of sour. Kind of like a blueberry Westbrook Gose. Speaking of the Gose, the wife loved it and has asked for more. Hit me up if you have access to quantity of Westbrook and would like to set up a trade. Cheers all.

Just decided to fire up the ol' pigskin. No shit, it's been 10+ years since I've played this. The season I was playing then was still saved. Check out Sweet Ken O'Brien after 10 games. 30 TDs, 3 INTs, 78.3% completions! Not bad.

 

A Dry-Hopped on the Jai Alai.
It's really damn good!

 

What game is that? As good as Ken's stats are, he don't know Bo in Tecmo bowl

Laundry list of revisit reviews for tonight:

This is a GREAT tripel. Dragonmead dates bottles now, and this is under 2 months old. Really balanced bright fruity/banana/clove/pepper and candi sugar/honey/bready malts. Very smooth and quite crisp for a 10% beer.


I haven't had this in years. This is an awesome DIPA. Fresh bottled on 8/3. Tons of bright grapefruit/pineapple/tangerine/lemon zest with moderate pine and moderate caramel malts that don't over do it. Still a really crisp and drinkable DIPA like the west coast should be. Lagunitas continues to impress me as always.


Great dark farmhouse as usual. Signature lightly tart fruity/spicy funk with a surprisingly balanced toast/cocoa/roast malt flavor. Very crisp and quite flavorful for a 4.2% beer. If you don't like funky farmhouse ales, stay out of the barn.


Great Saison! I've been waiting for this to show up. Great nose with tons of pear/apple/grape with pineapple/peach brett and pepper/clove/rye/breadiness. Very crisp and drinkable. I plan on buying another and throwing in the cellar to see what the brett does after some more time.


First review last year was a bottle gone south, tasted like shit. I got myself a bottle shipped out last week from online to give it a go. Completely awesome the second time around. Tons of complexity and well balanced malt and fruity/spicy yeast flavors. Lovely.
