Perennial Abraxas Release Day (11/9)

    It's been a few days since the announcement on Facebook, but I want a conversation going already, so yes a FIB is starting the thread.


    This will be my first time heading down for a Perennial release. For those that have been there for previous years' Abraxas releases, is this going to be anything like the recent Side Project release, where I should get there the night before or some time overnight? Or will arriving between 8 and 9am give me a comfortable shot at most bottles (Coffee Abraxas and regular)?

    I don't think you need to get there that early. This beer sees distribution and can be found on the shelf. That being said its delicious.

    Not sure about details of the coffee version though

    Is Coffee Abraxas going to see distribution?

    I'm not sure how limited, "limited"means.

    When I was there for the Side Project release,I was lead to believe that there would be a "very limited" number of bottles available at the brewery the day of the release.

    I was planning to wait for the BA Release, especially since Coffee is going to be available this weekend. But if the draught list is as good as they imply, I guess I'll be heading there for the release.

    By chance I will be visiting a friend in STL that weekend and will certainly be there. I'm pumped for them to release details on times, bottle limits, draft list, etc.

    Going to be there for this. Pretty psyched. Had regular Abraxas on tap in NYC and was blown away. Can't wait to bring some bottles home.

    I think Abraxas day is a ticketed event from what I picked up via my ears at the brewery last night. Event and bottle/s.

    They are going to be doing tickets for the VIP draft list, coffee abraxas, and regular.
    It just guarantees you those, anyone can buy regular abraxas or go though

    That's what I was told a week or two ago

    Thanks for the info. Sounds like you need a ticket just to buy regular Abraxas?

    Regular Abraxas is not hard to get. They usually brew several batches of it and it goes out to distribution.

    The chalkboard at Perennial says Apple Brandy Hunahpu is one of the guest taps. That alone is worth the trip.

    Does anyone know if Perennial has TVs? My team is playing Saturday and I was really hoping to catch the game... I'll do Abraxas Day regardless, but just curious. Also, Apply Brandy Hunahpu??? Wooo!!!
