College Station, we are less than a week out from a glorious evening! Lovers of Pro-Am rejoice! For it is being released on October 17th (THIS THURSDAY!) atO'Bannon's Taphouse. Six O'clock. As usual, come get a brew and keep the pint glass! A birdie told me that this may be one of the last opportunities to garner your pint glass collection with this fine specimen.

Also, if you have not tried our current lineup of amazing brews here in College Station, then I urge you to come out to Krogers on Longmire this evening from 4-7 and get a free sample of Bombshell, Hatchet, Pine Belt, and/or Walloon!

ProAm '13 is a Red Rye fermented with London Ale yeast. 6% abv.

Wow! I'm impressed. This one is a keeper...a creamy, smooth red rye beer. I had heard from the local rep that Pro-Am '13 was very impressive and better than Founders Red Rye, but after the inconsistencies with Valkyrie, I was a little skeptical. I will be buying more.

Maybe they should just stick to brewing Pro-Am's.....

It was only Valkyrie in bottles that sucked, the rest of their line is solid.

I didn't love cans either but I know. Just a joke. Forgot the smiley.

    There we go.

I thought Old Potentate was quite terrible, compared to other old ales, like DR12 and Old Stock Ale, and even SA Christmas Ale.
