    From the email:

    When: November 16th from 12pm to 4pm
Where: A closed portion of 3rd Street in Downtown Anaheim (specific location to be announced closer to the event)
Price: $50, membership discount does not apply to this purchase
Benefitting: This event is being coordinated by and 100% of the proceeds will be benefitting Inspire Artistic Minds

Included: 10 barrel aged beer taster tickets, commemorative glassware, and catered food from Hopscotch
    Other notes:

-There will be no physical tickets. Please bring your photo ID and copy of your receipt (digital is OK) to gain entry
-We plan to have 50+ barrel aged beers available to choose from. These will include both sour beers and spirit barrel aged beers
-The majority of the available beers are very high in alcohol. Therefore, we will not be selling further tickets on top of the 10 pours that are included.

I haven't attended previous years....does 10 tickets seem like enough since there are so many different beers to choose from?

Do they hand out anti-diabeetus shots as you check in?

Sounds great, but It's been a very expensive beer month for me already, and this is pretty close to the BT release party. I'll unfortunately be missing this one. But if I lived closer to Anaheim, I would probably be going.

In my opinion, 10 tickets are plenty for an event like this.

This is probably a dumb question, but is this only for sale to members of the various societies?

looks like it's only open to reserve and hoarders societies. 2/4 ticket limit respectively.

and yeah, i think 10 tasters would be plenty for this one.

Why couldn't they announce this a little earlier? Now i have to go to this and the BT party! First World Problems...

I hope with two people in a group and ten tickets we can at least try twenty beers. Any idea of the size of the pours?

Anybody have any idea if there's any chance their will be any vegetarian friendly food? (i know i want everything...)

They are letting hoarders buy 4...so maybe if you know somebody. I'd offer you mine but i only get two and i need them both

if it's anything like the initiation party the pours will range between 2.5 and 5 oz depending on the beer.

dunno about vegetarian friendly food. that was an issue at the initiation party (a vegetarian option was available, but it wasn't displayed on the menu), but that was catered by a different restaurant.

Yeah I think I am going to sit this one out as well. Pricy month and going to the BT release party like 2 weeks prior makes it easier to pass. I know it is for a cause but $5 a taste seems a bit steep also. If a draft list comes up shortly I might breakdown and buy tickets but otherwise I will probably invest that $100 in four bottles of Grey Monday.

Went to both parties last year this is better than the Black tuesday event.....so easy decision for me.

I've been to the last 2 BA parties. I like this event better then the BT party. It is similar to the initiation party but with better food. There have been tastes of special blends of BT and previews of soon to be released BA beers at this event too.

Ten tickets will be enough, but you will have to make some tough decisions on how you use them. Take a friend and share.

Barrel Party last year was a blast, hopefully the outdoor formatting will allow more people to go/set the stage for expanded clusterforks/BT release parties.

I went with a friend last year, in the tasting room. Made some new friends too so I got to try over 20 great beers. I left with unused tabs at the end. Was slamming like mad at last call...
Food truck was kinda boring as I recall. And it was a bring-your-own insulin event...

Don't know if I'll go this year. Suppose I will be depleted (physically and financially) after San Diego Beer Week!

Wasn't available for purchase. It took the place of the second piece of merch, and was one per member.

So....how does Buck86 expect to buy 4 bottles? Have we been told it will be for sale for us?

Way to close to the BT party for this NorCal resident. That said Ill be hitting the annual Wood and Barrel Aged Fest at The Bistro in Hayward that weekend. Thats a short BART ride for me.

I am almost positive it was listed as one of the RS exclusive releases for this year. That being said, 4x is probably a lofty estimate and $100 will net 3ish after discount. I'd assume they will be $30-35 a pop. They haven't disclosed a limit on them yet but so far there have only been a few limited to 2 bottles and those were first attempts which would make sense not to brew a ton and hope people all buy 3-6. Seems like we will have to wait a few weeks to find out more though.

I threw up in the parking lot after this one last year...but I probably had like 18 tasters total from people just giving up their tickets.
