Odell's Myrcenary Double IPA. Not only is it one of my favorite beers, it's also a fairly unintimidating take on the style so guests could enjoy it as well. So juicy and flavorful. I wish I could get it where I live.

Hop Stoopid always seems to go over well with my "beer-virgin" friends.
You might want another tap of something lighter though :stuck_out_tongue: Could get out of hand quick (unless that's your angle )
Not always, though. I was thrilled to find that a local was pouring their DIPA free during a day-festival in a park this summer.
You around Chicago Troville? I'm in East St. Louis

Out of hand can be fun, assuming no one is vomiting or urinating on any of my furniture. At that point all bets are off.

Actually I'm in Champaign, which I think might just be one of the most boring college towns in the Midwest. I do work for a Chicago-based company, though.

New Glarus Raspberry Tart. 1. It's frickin delicious. Duh! 2. Low abv so you could drink quite a few without getting too messed up. and finally 3. The ladies love it. Alternative would be New Glarus Serendipity for the above reasons.

Goose Island Baudoinia. I almost got a few kegs earlier this year and it was honestly the first beer I could imagine having in tap at my house. I rarely drink the same beer twice at home but could really see myself enjoying having this one around for a very long time.

Haha, look at you in Portland "missing" Germany a bit...

Had a bottle of Five recently and absolutely loved it; at this point in my life, it's sitting pretty as an example of exactly what I want in a beer right now. Dry, balanced, hoppy, and refreshing.

So much better from the bottle IMO...you dont get much of the funk from the keg in my experience.

Not sure exactly which beer... but a fresh relatively low-ABV (~4-5%) Citra Pale Ale would be my choice.

Zombie Dust or Austin Beerworks Half IPA come to mind.

I also probably wouldn't mind having Cantillon Classic Gueuze (or 100% bio) on tap.

Heh, well it was more a matter of practicality. I think it is a great pilsner. For a house beer I would want something that would make most people happy.

...and back in Germany:slight_smile: well have to meet up in Paris soon
    cheers

Classic and 100 bio are the exact same beer; Cantillon is just not certified Organic outside of Europe.
