Got a bottle through a trade awhile back and can't really found out much about. Im contemplating trading it since reviews are average at best. Any info and insight would be very helpful. Thanks and cheers in advance.

The 300 day one wasn't waxed, right? I had both versions last year, and the one with the yellow wax was great. The one without wax (supposedly sat in the barrels longer) was infected. :slight_frown:

It shouldn't be worth anything. Had the beers last month at an Eclipse tasting and it has aged terribly. It was the worst bottle of about 20 different bottles opened. The rest were good, this one, nope.

Well, I mean, considering the OP outright states that this beer reviews poorly, what kind of value could it possibly have?

Never said it reviewed poorly, just that reviews were mixed. After looking through reviews on here and on RB, the consensus seems to be that the 300- Day is the better of the two bottles. With reviews ranging from "god awful" to "really good". As far as bottle count is concerned, Ive received some feedback via BM that it was likely less than 200 bottles.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to find someone who has had this bottle recently.
