I just came back from the brewery where I sampled them all, then grabbed a pint. I think it was about $25. I'm not really one to formally review beers, but I think being a longtime Ithaca guy I can handle this one. From my personal least favorite to most favorite:

Double Zilla: I got the big Zilla vibe, but it was also pretty smokey, which I didn't understand. I mean, regular Zilla isn't smokey. I'm not a fan.

Dark Vine: Tasted to me like a hopped-up Ithaca Nut Brown. Pretty good, but a mixed genre in my book.

The Creeker: This is the big winner here, for me anyway. It was billed as low gravity for a double IPA, but I thought there was enough malt underneath the hops. Very enjoyable. I grabbed a pint of this one, and I'll be back for a growler.

Flower Power: Okay, I didn't sample this tonight, but I can taste this one in my sleep. It's my desert island beer.

So all in all, I guess it's worth it if you can't try these at the brewery. The Double Zilla is a deal breaker for me, but the Creeker is calling... the first Ithaca beer that I've wanted to stock up on since Chief left (except for the recent Old Habit release, which was his brew so they say).

I sampled at the brewery Thursday. Really liked the Dark Vine, with The Creeker as a close second. Flower Power was excellent as always. Double Zilla did not do it for me and kept me from buying the 12 pack.

Also, tried the Harvest ale when I was there. i thought it was really good too.

The 17th was my 30th birthday and I just happened to plan a road trip to the brewery/pub that day (50 minute drive). That was a nice surprise when I showed up!
    Double Zilla for the win!

I loved Zilla also and thought it was the best of the bunch. That case had the freshest flower power I have ever had in it. Dark vine was excellent and the creeker was my least favorite. I am happy to see Ithaca putting themselves back on the map with this case and the case of belgians to follow in the spring.

I got a bottle of Enjoy By 11.12.13 at Brilbecks in Syracuse. They still had a few left.

Looks like we had the complete opposite ranking... which I think is a good sign. There's something here for everyone. Well, everyone who digs hops, anyway. I think I would have liked the double Z if I was into smoke.

I keep changing my mind too. Putting creeker second instead of third. lolz Zilla is my favorite though. Hands down. I have gone through my whole case already :flushed:

That's the spirit! Get to the brewery for a pint of the Creeker, and you'll be nudging it even higher.

Do they have this in MA? Will easily drop those $$$. Although I'd just discussed stopping trying new beers (I'm talking to YOU Atwater Conniption Fit) and just getting cases of Double Jack.

I thought all of the beers were great and I would definitely grab another one ($24.99 at my shop). Dark Vine was reminiscent of their 14th Anniversary beer and was super tasty but the Double Zilla was definitely my favorite (think Double Bastard but maybe not quite as bitter).

I do not but they said "late october" for the release and it was here on the 17th. I would give it to the end of the month.

I hope it comes to you soon

I just picked two 12 packs for $48 in the Philly suburbs. Brew date on box was 10/13/13...so just about 11 days old. Had a Flower Power...wow this was good...so fresh. Then had the Creeker...good...but I found it hard to tell much difference from Flower Power. Will have to have this one alone. Then the Double Zilla...good lord this was good. Ithaca will want to think about keeping this bad boy. Dark Vine was good...and I typically don't like Black IPA's.

Overall...very pleased with this release from Ithaca. My distributor got eight cases...going to pick another one before they are gone.
