I went to Honeygo last August after a trip to DuClaw and was amazed at the selection...on that day, I walked out with two bottles of Marron Acidife, a Coton, and a Rose de Gambrinus. I went to DuClaw again yesterday (which was an amazing time, and a criminally underrated pub), and was determined to stop in at Honeygo. Stopped in, and spent maybe 15 minutes looking around buying some. No Tart Lychee yet (BOOOOO), but I did grab the Bruery/DFH collab, a 2012 La Folie, 4-pack of Hoptimum, 4-pack Deviant Dales, and a 4-pack of Shift. They were apparently running a special this weekend for 30% off all craft beer, so my total for that haul was 50 bucks. Seriously crazy stuff. Hoptimum for essentially 6.99 a four-pack? Insane....I think the sale ends today, so if you're in the area, check them out. They had a TON of DuClaw bottles too, including Colossus...I plan on constantly checking the New Belgium site to see if Tart Lychee has landed in Maryland, and when it has, it's time for another road trip.

Cheers to the guys at Honeygo, wish there were more reasonably priced stores like you in PA.

I will second your kudos as I was just there last weekend. Really impressed by the store and selection. I was just down the street for a family function with my in-laws. Couldnt believe I had not been to Honeygo before. Definetly my go to store when Im in the area. Wish they would of had that sale though when I was there, but I was happy with just the regular 10% for every six bottles I bought.

But yeah they manage to cram a pretty nice selection into a small space. 30% is a nice deal.. probably the only time id shop here as they price stuff a bit on the high side. Old Chub for $13.99? Haha-i don't think so.

I agree it's a great store with an amazing amount of inventory (prices, I thought, were OK), but I would make one caveat. Some of the stuff looks as if it's been sitting around for a while; the bottle of Firestone double jack I bought there was so old it was undrinkable. A little extra age won't do a beer like colossus any harm, but if one is shopping for IPA's and DIPA's, I would ask the staff how long the beer has been in the store before buying it.

The date codes on all the stuff I bought was fine...late March bottling/canning

I was in DC for the weekend and tried to stop by Sunday on my way home. Sorry I missed a chance to shop here.
