Kern Citra...what might it take?

    True, for Double Sunshine. Heady and HF growlers aren't too hard to track down though.

    it's a high bottle limit highly degradable beer made more than once a year. IPAs don't trade highly. there's not an IPA in the world cantillon wouldn't pull.

    i think you can figure it out yourself. citra isn't going to trade for any more than hill farmstead growlers. why are you all so mad? seems to be a lot of people planning to flip their bottles in this thread : )

    Beers that you must drink immediately don't trade as highly as beers which allow speculation that they might increase in value over time. Simple economics.

    don't assume anything. i'm just curious what you meant exactly. "won't trade highly" could mean won't trade for anything more than shelf turds to some people.

    I suppose that's the case now, which I'm totally cool with. It hasn't always been that way though. Younger growlers used to trade for quite a bit and I remember when Heady first got canned, folks weren't letting it go for mere shelf beers.

    I've never traded for Heady. Every can I've gotten was an extra.
