I'm in Mpls about once a month for work. I love me some Mpls beer, especially Surly. I've loved Wet in the past. This year's was a bad beer. You Minnesota BAs are renowned for your homerness, so I'll just let this go. This years' Wet was the turd. Sorry bro.

You're right. My bad. I came looking for this thread to see if it was just me who thought this was a bad beer. Turns out it's not just me. Didn't intend to be a troll but turns out I was.

It was certainly not a DP, a good beer, but not worth $4.50 a can.

What? Wet this year was not as good as last year, but it was still decent. And a Washington BA calling us homers? What a joke.

    Come on man!

We all know BuckeyeOne is right!
    Don't sugar coat it.
Doesn't matter what region he's from...Wet was a fucking joke this year!!!

I'm just glad I figured it out before I loaded up for a bunch of trades.

Who cares what other people think about a beer? If you buy it and like it, good for you, enjoy some more! If you don't like it, going on the internet and telling people to dump it down the drain isn't going to make you like it anymore, so what's the point?

It's a beer rating website. I'm not sure there's a more appropriate place to take your opinions about beer.

Based on past experiences with Wet, (loved the Simcoe, liked the Citra), when I saw it was Centennial/Cascade this year, I decided not to go out of my way trying to track any down at $17 or whatever. There's always next year.

Never even had a chance to try it. The Centennial/Cascade hops does not scare me off. In fact I think I would of preferred it over the Citra one. But the Simcoe one was excellent.

Just finished my last one on Saturday, wasn't even really super fresh anymore. Still a good beer. I didn't think this was great or worth the coin for it but priced the same as their other IPA's I would buy it over Overrated.
