I'm pretty confident that you can still ship, and that non-members have til the end of the year.

The goal is to have it all show up on the site at the same time. We have to "publish" each item manually (an automatically timed "publish" is something we'll be working on), so if the site is horribly slow, it can take some time for the items to appear, and they won't appear at the same time.

We've switched to a new eCommerce provider, are now on 3 dedicated servers (and can load balance with additional servers), have run a simulated large scale stress test through http://loadimpact.com so we feel pretty good about this stress test. Our fingers are crossed.

    Cheers,
    Patrick

You'll have until 12/31 to pick up the items, or you can choose shipping within CA and they'll ship soon after 10/25.

If they did that I'd buy a case of it on the spot.

From those with prior Stress Test experience - will these bottles be listed on the regular "beer" section of their website? Or in the "Special Collection" portion of their site?

From prior experience, they just won't be listed at all.

Probably will just show up on the front page though.

Just clicking "Beer" shows all of the subcategories ("Special Collection," "Collaboration," etc.), so anything and everything will show up when you click "Beer" in the top menu. Any given beer could be shown under multiple categories - for example, BT is in "Barrel Aged," "Current Allocations," and "Special Collection" - so I wouldn't even bother with the sub-categories if you're going for one of the super limited beers.

Are the piapt and papier actually worth buying? the piapt reviews seem to have fallen off lately

PiaPT - if you want a vertical and have money to burn, go for it. The last bottle I had wasn't fully gone, but there was a substantial amount of soy sauce oxidation.

Papier - holding up better than PiaPT but in much the same vein, you're paying for a vertical and/or the novelty factor.

The fact that revenue from both beers will go to charity is awesome, so I wouldn't dissuade anyone from buying, but keep in mind that both of them are 4+ year old beers that were released in the Bruery's first year of operations, when they were still dialing in their processes.

Kind of off topic, but are there still bottles of Melange for sale in the Taproom?
