Otherwise known as the best store in the OKC that no one in this forum will write a freaking review on:angry:

And we wonder why we get some many where do I go? threads... Having said that, it's nice to have any non-Texan related topics in this forum, just to break the subject matter up...

Freeman's is the jam. Always quality product on shelf.

Can't wait to nab an imperial black ryePA (roughtail) after work!

So has anyone tried any of the four new Marshall German styled beers at the Tulsa Oktoberfest yet?

I am trying to figure out how I will be able to drink a masskrug of each!

Just had the Black Hop from Dead Armadillo, brewed at Roughtail.
    Great stuff.

Went to a concert last night in Tulsa ( Five Finger Deathpunch) & had many beers at Mc Nellies pre & post concert. I liked Dead Armadillo Amber, Loved Rough Tail's Red Republic & kind of liked their Pumpkin Porter & the Prairie Merica was stellar. Needless to say my head was little thick this morning, but not so bad:astonished:

Tried Battered Boar's Dante's Porter. Pretty good, you better like some chile heat or find another beer to chase it with it. Not Ghost Face Killa hot (which was too much for me), but in your face hot.

Supposedly Dead Armadillo Brewery is in Tulsa, but may still be using Roughtail for production (though it appears as if their website is out of date). In about 10 hours I'll know for myself whether or not the Black Hop is worth a darn (though it would be nice to have an El Cucuy, Wookey Jack, or Stone SSR for comparisons), but someone on this forum must know more about the brewery, no?

The other reason I asked, is some customer at McNellies made a comment about it being made in a garage in Claremore, I did not press for a better explanation, maybe I should have...

I now see on the label Roughtail & this was corroborated on the Thirsty Beagle. I always forget about that useful site/blog.

Yup, there it is right on the bottle - "brewed and packaged by Roughtail Brewing." Time to call the optometrist. At least that explains how I missed the owl perched 25 feet in front of me earlier.

More importantly, this is tasty stuff. Will definitely have to seek out some of their other offerings.

Sadly, that was with the 1.75 readers, probably time to bump those up to 2.0s:grinning:
