I've seen it all over Charlotte, NC. Didn't realize it was somewhat sought out. I guess I'll have to snag a couple bottles and give it a shot.

Nothing in NW Indiana yet, which is weird considering were only a couple of hours from the brewery. Hoping to see it this week.

Is this still at the brewery in the fridge? I know last year it was in there for over a month. I'm heading out to Founders in a couple weeks to buy a couple cases of Backwoods Bastard and would love if this was still there

Literally stumbled on this one at a local grocery store last week. Saw an open case of Founders on the floor and peeked in. Saw it was Harvest Ale and grabbed a 4 pk. Looks like I got lucky. Thank you, beer karma!

Haven't seen anyone post about when NJ is getting this. I always have a hard time getting hold of it. Last year I didn't see any until I happened across some when I was up in Maine.

Either my tastes have changed or the beefed up 7.6 version is a lesser beer. I recall being bowled over by the aroma of this beer and this year (I missed last year) it merely smells like an ordinary IPA.

I found it to be an excellent drink, as usual.

What's annoying is non diligent employees annoyed by calls and just expect the customer to randomly come in when it's available & convenient to you. Possibly organize it with a call list, or people are just going to call back daily. They call daily because its the only way they can get what they need since distribute & stores are pathetically unorganized. Sorry people don't want to miss out on a super limited goes fast release.

Dude....chill out. If you're calling a store daily for Founders Harvest Ale...you're not doing it right. There are plenty of shelf IPAs that are close enough to Harvest that if you miss out on it, then it's so far from the end of the world it's not even funny.

Suggesting the shop owner organize a call list to let people know when beer X has arrived is part of the problem, not the solution.

I love walking into a store around when I think something should be released and stumbling onto a 4/6 pack. And if it's come and gone and I missed it, I'm still in a beer store full of other awesome options.

    And you don't NEED anything.

Your right we need Everything. I annoy a couple of places not on my usual rotation for a few select brews every year. Douchey yes, but I sleep just fine.

Still waiting for this to arrive in Mass. Curious though, SN Northern Hemisphere Harvest just DID arrive here. It's also a wet hop, only .07 behind Founders Harvest in the BA ratings. Yet I don't see a thread about it coming out, much less one drawing so many comments. Wondering why that is?

It's not that good IMO. I thought NH 2012 was pretty solid, but the Southern and Northern this year were not good. Brought a fresh NH to a tasting last week and it was very meh. Bottom line, not worth chasing compared to FFF Broo Doo, Founder's, Surly, etc. In my opinion.
