Just looked at my last can and the stamp is pretty roughed up, but it might actually be the same canned date (10/08.) It's very close to Jai Alai. I guess I just had higher hopes for it, but it is still really good. I think I get more citrus and floral notes out of Jai Alai, than I do Dry Hopped.

I agree, Dry Hopped was good, not great. If i see it on a shelf next to Jai Alai, i am buying the Jai Alai every time. If Jai Alai did not exist, i might buy dry hopped more, but as is i can get Jai Alai anytime i want, so at the same price point as dry hopped it's an easy choice for me. Dry Hopped was a one sixer and done for me. Glad i got to try it, but don't see a need to try it again given other options.

No shortage in Tallahassee. Took this a couple days ago. Even on sale from $10.99 down to $8.99.

I was in Tampa last week and got a growler of Jai Alai and bought cans directly from the tap room. I don't live in Tampa, but was down there this past March as well and went to the taproom. I was so excited to get back down and drink as much jai Alai as I could as I absolutely fell in love with it earlier this year.

I almost didn't want to believe my toungue, but something was just different about Jai Alai since the last time I sipped it. It seemed thicker (almost syrupy), less carbonated, and had some odd aftertaste a little like honey (but not in a good way like Hopslam). Since I bought both a fresh growler and consumed it within an hour and bought cans it couldn't have just been a freak thing. I love Cigar City and am in no way bashing them. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about an off-batch or a change in recipe? I'm hoping this is a freak occurance!

Funny you should ask, all the dates on the cans for sale at the brewery were smeared and very hard to read. I am 90% sure they said Septemeber 30th so only about 2 weeks old. Since the growler had the exact same taste qualities I assume the cans were not that outdated. Is it also normal for the Tocaboga (im sure I spelled that wrong) to have a lot fo sediment? I bought a sixer and the bottles all had quite a bit. It tasted fine and I know there is no harm in drinking sediment....just curious if it's normal or again, maybe a weird batch?

I'm wondering if they are going through some growing pains/trying to keep up with demand from the distributer? I'll be back in tampa at somepoint Q1 2014 and will surely be trying all the CCB I can get my hands on!

I am glad this 11/25 Jai Alai showed up at my shop. Something about it seems tastier than normal. I'm getting a lot more citrus from it. Maybe it's just in my head since it was canned on my birthday! On that note, maybe they can name a beer for my birthday. Oh wait...
