Rumpkin stands out the most to me (tickets still for sale though for those not taking it easy before FNS).

I jotted down just ones I haven't tried before. If I target only them I am still in trouble

For those of y'all that have been, if I get there when gates open for general admission will I be able to try all the beers I want or do the rarer beers go within minutes?

They space out the tappings. Last year it was pretty easy. The casks were all set up and ready to go. The "rare" beer tappings occurred every hour, I believe. Maybe every 30 mins. People lined up in advance and the line was kinda long for GA, but I don't recall many people missing out. VIP had a separate line for the rare tappings and got to go first.

The cask and rare stuff was separate from the regular beer tent. So you had the large beer tent with all the breweries, then the rare tappings which had a running line most of the time.... and then most people seemed to forget about the cask section. Last year they had the Cherry Hellfighter cask and I walked up about 10 times, never once facing a line.

I see, I was hoping everything would be tapped at once. Hanging around for 6 hours seems a bit long. I can't drink that slow. Can you get more than one beer at a time? Say I want two Rumpkins for two drink passes, will they allow that or do I have to get back in line? Or do they only allow one pour per person?

There was plenty of great brews available without having to wait for VIP schedule. I had BBQ, Sucaba, Founders Impy Stout, Real Ale XV and XVII, Rumpkin x2, Lolita, St Arnold BB4, Somewhere, Alaskan Smoked Porter 2004, El Cedro, Victory at Sea, Green Bullet, Rodenbach Grand Cru from regular taps without having to wait. Only VIP line brews I had were Scots Gone Wild x2 and something else I can't recall. Was quite content with the choices.

Nice weather (a few degrees cooler and it would have been perfect), good venue and generous 3oz pours. $25 was a bargain, IMO. Had a great time and it helped turn my buddy into a true lover of craft brews. Kudos to Flying Saucer!
