Order some Imperial Stout and Past Masters 1966 strong ale from Fullers.
They send the Imperial Stout and Past Masters Old Burton Extra.
Email them asking them to rectify the situation, expecting to have to send back the unwanted bottles.
Reply saying I can keep the Old Burton Extra and they'll send me some 1966 strong ale too.

    Success!

The beer was just like the video - a awesome experience unmatched by anything!

Tonight I'll be drinking 4 month old Odell IPA and St Lupulin.

    Total first world problems.

    Castle Rock's Elsie Mo
    William Bros' Hipsway

Hipsway is fruity in a subtle way (cold lagered on strawberries apparently).

I'd bet London to a brick on that the IPA stood up better than the St Lupulin.

Had a bit of a sore head this morning from overdoing it on the Hobgoblin. Fun at the time though.

Fuller London Porter and London Pride. First time ever I've seen them locally and it makes me happy.

That Tempest brew is in Glug in the Toon, didn't fancy the shlep yesterday.
Just looked again and it's gone!
It's Beavertown Blood Orange all over again.

Suppliers don't often want to take back unwanted bottles, they have been out of their supervision for a while and so they wouldn't want to sell them on.
I got half a dozen rather nice bottles of 1995 Bordeaux this way; I had ordered sparkling Saumur from the Wine Society! Their mistake, my gain.

The Kernel Export Stout London 1890. As coffee forward as any coffee brew I've had, me thinks.

I've always thought the best chocolate or coffee tasting stouts are ones that don't have any actual coffee or chocolate in them

Only one proper option for this weather: stew, dumplings, and stout. Kernel Imperial Brown, Fullers Imperial, or Partizan Export though?

Went for the kernel - nice but a bit too boozy to be a really great beer.
