I split a grumbler with 4 people last weekend and wished I'd gotten a full growler.

    I'll bet.

I don't know many people here in Eugene, so usually it's just me I'm buying for when I get a growler. I can just barely polish off a grolwer of hop venom, if I have the entire day to drink it (this works well on Saturdays during football season). I'm fairly certain that I'd be a hurting puppy if I polished off an entire growler of notorious.

On its last legs at the Eastside Tavern.

It was on tap on Tuesday at E-9 in Tacoma I'd be shocked if it was still on tap.

It's a joke from the Pacific forums. RR will only fill their own "superior" growlers at the brewery.

    Agreed though with the Hydro!

Their website says they have it, do you know if they keep it regularly updated? Not that it really matters just don't want to see my old man cry if they don't have it tomorrow.

Also I motion that we refer to "triple" IPA as TRIPA. as in "Drop your DIPA and get with the TRIPA".
    (I am so lame)

Their website is usually updated daily, so I assume it was still on tap earlier today. I'm hoping to stop by tomorrow for it, but I'm afraid that it might blow tonight with their larger Friday night crowd. Maybe the higher price of it is keeping some people from drinking it.

If this is the t-shirt motto for WABL next year, I'll send in my check right now.

I'm only a WABL member, but it should be one the shirt. :sunglasses:

I didn't think you were the one in charge of WABL t-shirts or anything, but a WA beer t-shirt with this phrase should be made. WABL was just the first organization I thought of. Also, not living in WA anymore, it would take something special to get me to write a check to WABL.

I just had Notorious for the first time tonight. I thought I had my IPA dialed in. This beer changed my goal. Found this thread looking for a recipe. IMO, much better than PTY.

Is this still on tap anywhere in or close to Portland? Here for my honeymoon and would live to try it. Thanks.

It's available several places down here in Eugene. Depending on your reference point, that might qualify as "close to Portland" I suppose.

How long will you be in town?

    [hijack]

I had a nice time in Eugene this past weekend. Snagged some De Garde, Flat Tail and Block 15 bottles, had dinner and beers at Falling Sky, and checked out Ninkasi, Oakshire and Hop Valley. I really enjoyed Agrarian's fresh hop saison at the Saturday farmer's market, too.
