    Hm...maybe it's not as fresh as it should be (best by 10/23), or maybe it's the super high expectation I had given the #15 ranking AND from one of the most sought after micro breweries in the world, or maybe I've been drink some really awesome IPAs lately, but I wasn't super impressed with the HF Abner DIPA. It reminds me A LOT of the Nelson IPAs, which I really love, but not quite there.

    Chilean sea bass with sauteed okra and squash, Salmon with green beans and bacon, both courtesy of the lady of the house.

    Most recently had Widmer Pitch Black IPA on tap with french onion soup and a stir fry. Was great with both. Mouthfeel was just a shade thin for my preferences but great all around flavor. Maybe I'm still too conditioned by the heavier mouthfeel of stouts and just expect that when I see dark beer in front of me.
