Those 8 other people up there are pretty staunch Bud drinkers huh?

Blue Moon is crafty, but it is also delicious. It was the best beer I drank in college (early 2000s) and still tastes pretty damn good.

Yuengling is definitely the most popular beer in West Virginia as far as seen as "premium" I'd say Bud Light is probably the most purchased tho

Sam Adams was the first "micro-type" beer available in IL. I remember when it first came out, It was a ray of sunshine in a dark, gloomy mass production envirement. I remember the first 6 pack i bought when I thought "wow this is good beer", "was it really made in America"?.

It grabbed a market share in IL. and never gave it up. I still drink it cause Ive never had a bad one.

I'd like to point out that 5,000 people is a PLENTY large enough sample size to get a statistically significant result.

Now, that absolutely depends on how they went about selecting those 5,000 people, but the idea that this survey is wrong simply because of the sample size is incorrect. If you want to criticize the survey, criticize the limited list of options people were given to choose from, but not the sample size.

I, for one, am encouraged to see so many Blue Moon states. Not because I just love Blue Moon, but because whatever your opinion about it being craft or not, it contains flavor profiles that are different from the BMC stuff that we always see as "most popular" on nationwide surveys. It's a sign that people's palates are changing, and for the better.

It isn't that bad....if all you got is Bud, and Miller products. Used to be better though.
