This was when he was dead, and his eye filled with Baller Stout.

    True Story.

This year's DLD was much better than the '10 fiasco (I missed last year--heard it was pretty good). Was just a "tad" chilly but otherwise, things went pretty well. Shared some good brews with the Mrs's youngest son, two of his friends, and several people who stopped by the car across the street from the brewery. Only made about three or four trades this year, only two being set up pre-DLD. Wondering what FFF is doing with the pallets of leftover DL as two of our party attempted to buy extras well after the C session was over and was told NO. Three Floyds could tweek a couple things to make next year's even better but I'd say that this one was the best I've been to ('09, '10, and this year). Hopefully we'll be back next year.

The Munster police deserve a round of applause . Handled the event with pure class. We saw a drunk intentionally steamroll a cop and the officer handled the situation really well (let the guy know who is boss and politely escort him out of the park without booking him or cuffing him or whatever). Had I been that cop, that guy would be sitting in my squad car , which I'd park in front of dld, so he would have to watch everyone else have fun. Them he would spend the night on jail.

But seriously. If any munster police are on BA, just know you guys are really professional and run a world class police force

Everything I'm reading about 4 packs and DLD tells me that having room in a backpack for 4 DL's was the right call. Even though said backpack gave me the worst backache of my life until I could finally set it down somewhere.

Definitely agree here. Just waiting to get into DLD I saw cops let 2 different guys go (to rounds of applause) after they caught them pissing against a huge warehouse. One even let my buddy go after he rolled up on him pissing in the weeds less than 100yds from a bathroom at the Speedway/White Castle. I hope I can handle drunks like that when I get a badge.

While I didn't hate it, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one underwhelmed by MOAS.

I'm exaggerating by "hated" it but found it to be a boozy malty mess of caramel. Hot and unbalanced. Loved Henry, BA behemoth and was impressed by life bridge commander probably because of my low expectations. With I could have had a sip of the wooden hell i saw while in line but I'm not complaining because I got to try many amazing beers this weekend

My exact sentiments regarding MOAS...crazy hot/harsh. I did a 3-way (heh) tasting of BA Hi-Fi, King Henry, and '11 MOAS with another BA and King Henry and BA Hi-Fi were MILES ahead of MoAS. I have a BA Behemoth I'm probably going to crack after I graduate this Saturday...succinct description perhaps?

Never saw the Wooden Hell...I'm just happy I finally got to try Black Tuesday (along with tons of others).

BA behemoth was just a hair behind Henry in quality IMO. Excellent beer. I am regretting now picking up a BA alpha klaus. I knew it was there and told myself meh. Upshot is walked away from dld with cash unspent haha.

Great to hear. I thought about picking up a BA Alpha Klaus instead of BA Behemoth at the pub ticket release, but I had concerns about it holding up to the barrel aging.

Maybe it's just me, but I think I found this year to have more assholes than the previous. I'm thinking more and more people are just showing up to buy the beer only to turn around and see it at a profit.
