Yea, I went up a couple times to preorder more bottles of BT 09 as friends wanted them. I think I ended up with 24 bottles. The barrel papiers were available for preorder before The Bruery was known to be able to produce really good high gravity barrel aged beers, so there wasn't a frenzy for them. Bourbon Papier nearly sold out in the initial preorder. Brandy and Rye didn't sell quite as well. The Bruery sold the remaining bottles that weren't reserved for preorder at the tasting room one weekend. Bourbon sold out with the wave of the line (I remember Overlord missing out on that one and being distraught). Brandy and Rye hung around for most of the weekend.

Heady is so overrated, they tell you to drink it out of a can to mask the fact they don't finish the beer properly and sell fermenter dregs in each can to maximize the product. It's also highly oxidized due to poor QC and DO pickup in the canning process. Fools will spend their $$$ on this garbage, wise drinkers will go to one of the other 2 dozen local great breweries and spend less on properly better made beer.

I think it's a good beer but couldn't agree more with the low yeast flocculation. Do I think they should filter it? No. Have I ever had an oxidized can?!?! No. You sure you know what oxidation is?
