Has this hit Boston or the South Shore yet? Looking to grab a 4-pack.

IIRC backwoods is a Nov release. Few more weeks.

Picked up some yesterday in VT. But it usually hits NY/MA in November, IIRC

Why choose? BB is a stellar breakfast stout follow-up!

Is that last years vintage that you picked up? This is usually a November release.

Beer Store in Nashua NH has a few cases (1 4-pack per customer). Just picked up some myself, LOVE this beer.

I'd actually have the Backwoods before the FBS in that case... although bourbon barrel aged, BB doesn't scorch your palate the way Breakfast can, and imo has more subtle, delicate flavors

hmm never had a scorched palate from FBS, and at 8.3% it's on the lighter side for an imperial stout. Well to each his own, point I was making is there's no reason you can't have both! (KBS vs BB might be a more intriguing matchup)

Gonna call bullshit on this. This shelf has no other beers on it? Back of the store maybe? Where workers lurk possibly? In reach of a pricing gun?

It's legit. Gary's in Portsmouth, NH. Clearly mispriced (I assume), but it was sitting all by itself in the back. A rare find, but I'll take it.

I found boltcutter there for $10 and old rasputin xv for $12 there. Love it there!

I concur. It's dirty as hell and smells like an ashtray soaked in stale Pumpkinhead, but it's always good for a gem or two. I still found it odd that Backwoods B just came out and there was single four pack just sitting with the other Founders cases and on special. They had the canned 12-packs of All Day for $18 - I thought about pulling the trigger but was satisfied with my one find.

p.s., they have three cases of FV13 in the back fwiw.

FV13 wasn't even released in NH!?

I found it at Village Market in Hampton. So NH did it get it. Not to take this topic off course. Great find on the Bastard, I paid double that last week.
