This is why I don't invite BA's to my Holiday parties.

Not exactly stolen, but me and my brother play hide the beer when we visit each other. We pick a ageable beer and do our best to hide it from each other, when we eventually find it we have some really old beer to try that we wouldn't otherwise. I have a 2004 Dragons Milk, 2008 BCBS, 2007 Dark Lord, 2010 Shipwreck Porter, 2011 Sucuba, sadly I only have 1 bottle of each. We might need to start hiding multiples.

Curious how you know he drank it? Also unless you were dating your best friend, I don't think he did anything wrong there.

I agree with TheLostGringo. If I'm inviting anyone over to my house that I wouldn't implicitly trust with anything in my house including my beer, my pets, or my best friend/wife, then I'm not going to bed and/or sleep before they're out of my house. If it means I consume a little bit less, so be it. But, it's worth the peace of mind knowing everything is safe and sound and exactly where I left it.

i had someone steal a box of beer off my porch recently. had peg's ba batch 300, some kuhnhenn meads and who knows what else. the saddest part is knowing whoever stole it probably didn't appreciate it. i was thinking of leaving another package on my doorstep with a bottle of piss in it. maybe mix it with bud a little bit for carbonation.

That's good Form man! Nice to see BA helping one another out!

I've never had one stolen, just haven't had one at all :slight_frown:.....But, that will change before the year ends, thanks of course to another fellow BA!

Sorry to hear your loss OP, but very happy to see BA Ray step up.

I like your style. Do the piss. I did similar with my lunch at work. Some asshat kept taking my PBJ so I shaved my face and other unmentionables into one and left it, sure enough the next day it was gone at lunch time. My lunch stays put now.

Just this weekend at Darkness Day, I had my bag stolen that had a Parabola, BORIS and 2 bottles of BCBS '12 and a few others I recently traded for including a 2013 Dark Lord. All I can say is just be lucky it wasn't more....my North Face bag alone was $60 :slight_frown:

Sadly this happened when I put my bag down to share a few of my beers with some random BA'ers.

I love how the OP is slightly concerned about the beer rather than the fact that he has a piece of shit as a friend.

I'm not sure if this constitutes theft, but my friend took a 2012 BCBS out of my fridge, took one sip, and then poured the whole thing out, assuring a very concerned me that it had- in fact- gone skunked.

Odd, cause I've had literally the same exact experience. However, I included toenails for a nice subtle crunchy texture, in case they prefer crunchy peanut butter

I know he drank it because he told me he did. And I never said there was anything wrong with him banging my best friend! Was just part of the story.

Damn. I guess this guy decided if he was going to screw you over he might as well go all the way. But hopefully your best friend had a good time.

I guess not stolen, but my buddies did go in my fridge, took out 2 Plinys drank them. When i walked back out all i saw were full glasses and empty Pliny bottles. Nothing for me, safe to say i was pissed! Haha

I worked at a grocery store in high school. One person would walk by the cases of swill and stab a pen into a can. We would have to clean it up and take the other 23 cans to the back. Some how we ended up with 46 cans of warm swill on a Friday night after work. Those always helped kick off the weekends.

We thought we were being slick, but I'm sure everyone knew the scam we were pulling. Yes, I realize now what a dick move that is, but I was 17 with two things on my mind. One usually helped lead to the other.

I don't wanna give anyone any ideas but at a local grocery store they had 2012 bcbs out last year and someone got a 4 pack by putting them in a mix a six. Now any highly sought after beers at this store he keeps in the back he tells people about them when asked but you have to ask.

Its kinda lame but he's a good guy and he has always been really helpful to me and other people when it comes to getting beers and his prices are usually a dollar cheaper than the norm.

On the plus side its because of this that I've gotten in the habit of talking to people at the stores I go to and asking them questions you'd be surprised at what can turn up.

I had a fedex package get taken from my porch- both '11 & '12 a Parabola, a Blind Pig, a Pliny, a '12 Black Tuesday and a couple others. We get packages all the time, this was the only one that got taken. F@ckers...
