As many have said Double Agent is actually an excellent version of the style. And I'm +1 on mentions of Straub's IPL, it was stellar considering where it comes from (which I dont mind regular Straub either).

But my two favorite so far have been:
    Jack's Abby Hoponius Union
    Great Lake's Silver & Gold

Not creative enough apparently. IPLs do not rate higher than the top shelf IPAs. Sooo, why not just grab an IPA?

Oh, that's right, because then hop heads can say they dig lagers.

I have to agree with those who mentioned JA's Mass Rising. It's great. I'm really looking forward to the release of Kiwi Rising. It hits the brewery this Thursday, hopefully it will show up in bottles soon after.

Love 'em. Jack's Abby's hoppy beers, Great Lakes Silver & Gold, Ballast Point Fathom—all excellent in my book. Fathom on tap was fucking fantastic, and Hoponious Union is always a homerun in my book.

Yeah man, I'm dying to try that one. Now that Jack's Abby is in upstate NY, I can't wait to actually get a few bottles of it this year.

Thoughts? An IPL sounds quite tasty right now.

I really enjoy them. SA Double Agent and Short's Beard of Zeus and Mmmkay are all great.

Needs a better name, just because something is hoppy doesn't make it "India," although calling it that is a pretty good way of telling people it's hoppy, so it's a wash I guess.
I've had Hoponius Union (thanks Ljudsignal!) and it was pretty tasty.

What does India have to do with them?

I've had Hoponius and Jack's Abby 2nd Anniversary. Nice beers, but I'd prefer them as ales.

I would choose the Ale version myself. That said there are a couple good ones out there.

Yup. It is stupid good. As are most/all of their beers. They've had at least 4 amazing IPLs/DIPLs released thus far.

The only one I recall having is Hoponius Union and it was pretty tasty. I'm sure I'll trade for more Jack's Abby beers in the future, or maybe visit New England in general and hit those wonderful breweries in that neck of the woods.

Calling a beer India Pale (whatever) is a good way to get drinkers to buy it.

Jack's Abby 2nd Anniversary, Ballast Point's Fathom, and The Bruery's Humulus Lager are enough to let me know that I am a big fan of this style. So damn crisp and clean.
