Anybody try this yet? Saw it yesterday in Charlotte, but was on my bike, so didn't purchase.

 

I had it at GABF, it was solid. I usually really dislike black ipa's fan normally, so considering that it, was pretty good

 

Hrmm.. Still waiting for this in ATL.

 

Really should only be hitting shelves across the country starting this week. I'm based out of Asheville these days, and I think it just got here on like Friday.

I also heard the first batch out of NC was Celebration that would be making it way to Atlanta, can't wait for that! Enjoy NC.

 

I picked up a bottle yesterday at TW. Looking forward to trying it this weekend.

Word on the street is, they will focus on Pale and Torpedo to dial in the brewhouse.

 

I heard this too and was trying to go through Twitter to confirm where I heard it from. Disappointing seeing as how we are already seeing a lot of Oskar Blues stuff from Bevard already.

 

I was right ...... really enjoyed this one. No where near as good as Estate in my opinion but still a really good Black IPA

 

All the OB to NJ is from Bevard these days and coming in at an alarming freshness. a week to 2 weeks old Dale's is a beautiful thing.

 

I'm lucky enough to live in Northern Cali and I grab a bottle the other day and its good stuff.
But I'm also a big fan of Sierra nevada

Just came trickling in North Jersey last week. Saw 3 cases at Bottle King Livingston.

 

Have a case of it at Tavern on thr Lake Hightstown NJ...Exit 8 off Turnpike.

 

Bought a bottle in DC. I enjoyed this beer a lot, maybe even more than regular Estate.

 

Had my bottle yesterday, I really liked it (disclaimer: I like a lot of black IPA's), didn't get too much of the wet hop but was definitely enjoyable.

On a side note, I had a hell of a time opening the bottle due to that super thick layer of wax, what am I doing wrong!? Never had this problem before, I just wanted to drink my beer damnit!

 

Haha, I drank mine in a hotel room, and had opened previous beers by just popping the top off on the corner of the table. Imagine the time I had with the devESTATEtion!

 

chipped away at the wax for hour before I finally hit the bottle cap!!
