Consistently takes me to the Returning Customers page and asks me to log in again. Clock keeps ticking, down to 12 minutes. Site keeps crashing shorty after entering my login deets

It's the first time with a new vendor, and those stress tests were really just beta tests against what was going to happen today. I know it sucks but there's a really good chance the vendor gave The Bruery a nice report on how this would work, and one little code leak blew it up. This stuff happens all the time w/ tech companies, it's just that The Bruery didn't have a real production trial until about 54 minutes ago.

I'm sitting here pounding F5, realizing that I already have two bottles of this beer that I gave a 3.75 and I'm spending an hour to pay $100 plus double shipping to get it to PA for three more bottles. Actually, I'll save my $ for a second case of BCBS.

Agreed. This is just bad business at this point. It's not like this is a surprise for them. If I remember correctly they said they sold all 6000 in under 10 minutes last year. That's 6000 at $30/each in under 10 minutes. That's a good chunk of money but yet we can't upgrade the servers?

My errors keep going from SLL Connection error, to No Data Received then once in a blue moon it will take me to a really janky web version of my cart, and then i hit checkout and it fails again.

How can it be bad business when people sit there for hours and are still willing to drop $120 on 3 bottles?

There are sites that handle way more traffic then this on a daily basis. My guess is that all of the companies in this space are start ups with not much capital for equipment and with architectures not designed for this type of load.

I went through the whole process, entered my CC number and everything... keep getting disconnected from server and needing to re-enter information. I only have 8 minutes left on my timer! I'm going to get the shaft on this.

They almost assuredly don't own the servers. I think what they tried to do is upgrade their vendor/service provider and they (the vendor) shit the bed. No way the Bruery invests in that kind of proprietary tech hardware for 1-3 web massacres a year...

I got through cc info and then place order. Then crash and it rejected my cc info. So back to that step again. Ugh.
