In my experience the past couple years, it's only rare in shops that don't do a lot of volume. They usually get 1-2 cases and that's it. Places that do lots of volume get a lot more and multiple shipments. My store got in 2 cases the first week, but they are getting in more next week and probably thereafter. Last year they had so much I was drinking HA into December.

My buddy told me in Columbus there was a shop selling them for $5 with a 1 bottle limit. Find a new shop!

My go-to shop in Oakland County is selling one 4-pack per person, and they keep it in the back. It's a great beer, but not any better than Double Trouble, Artist Inspired, and Red's Rye (all with similar hop profiles) which were much more readily available.

Wow! This will be great if we can drink it into December. Then we should be getting Sucks and Abrasive should be available.

Abrasive from Surly? That's news to me if that's what you mean. MN only i thought.

Finally got some. It's a little different this year but still very good.

It's different this year, but still pretty darn good. I'll admit, I've had it out of bottles once, 2 years ago. I had it on tap at the source last year in GR, and it was fantastic then.

Drinking one now, and managed to get 2 4-packs this year, so plenty to enjoy and go around.

they had 2 cases I bought a four pack which was stupid

next day they had 2 bottles left

    6 bottles > no bottles

Since Founders just arrived in my area 2 months ago, I'm drinking my very first one right now. This is great stuff! Wish I would've bought more than 2 four packs.

I can't believe this still hasn't hit Pittsburgh.

Actually I can... It's probably been sitting at the distributors for a week and they'll release Harvest Ale when Backwoods Bastard is allowed to be released.

Totally agreed. I hope they go back to 6.5% abv next year.

I finally got this beer! I found one bottle last year and traded it away, but this time I didn't make the same mistake. It is definitely a great beer! I hope that I can find another 4 pack somewhere before its all gone.

You are right, but you can order it online from a few places. France44 is my favorite for Surly brews.

I'll stand by my statement. Maybe Georgia doesn't have such a great and diverse beer selection like we have here in MA. I thought the Sierra Nevada wet hop was far better. As well as the wet hop Jacks Abby. But Jacks' doesn't ship out of state, your loss. I have not had any bad Founders, but IMHO, not living up to the praise I've seen here.

I had Founders Harvest Ale about a week after they bottled it. It was fantastic!

On shelves today in Green Bay and 26 days old. Would have been nice to have tried this fresher but glad to have it. Big fan of this one!

It hit Raleigh today and sold out in less than 30 minutes. I caught wind of a store that's not putting it out until Thurs. and got put down for 2 four packs. Pumped to know I got it locked down, but wish I had one bottle to drink tonight.

That's ridiculous. It's not THAT good. I've enjoyed it in the past, but I'm not losing sleep if I don't get any.
