I can't tell if you are bitching about this or posting it as a deal, that's really not too bad. If I didn't have a few '12s left (2012ing up in here) I might be headed over there.

Wake me up when we see it at $50 expensive, once again. Until then I think I'll have to make due with the two or three dozen RIS options* out there without very much hype attached, and under that magical Twinge.

(*There's no silk-screened tattoo art bottle and jack-shit for cellar cred, but dem's da breaks!)

I was just putting it out there.
I figured that someone may find it useful.

I personally wouldn't pay that, which is why I worded my post as such.

This may be the best analogy I've seen to the issue of beer pricing. A product that's relatively limited, at a price that's often well below the free market value, but many suppliers want to keep that price down to foster relationships with the end-user. In both cases, middle-men (be they stores or individuals) have a lot of flexibility in their markup.

Interesting to look at how some musicians are dealing with scalping: see this story. Though many of the methods don't really apply to beer sales, the first one on the list: increase supply.

For anyone still looking, Top Ten in Woodbury still had some at 5 pm. For those further east, Liberty Villages Wines and Spirits in Stillwater says very few people are coming in asking about D'13. $24.99. Not sure about bottle limits at either place.

Way off the beaten path, Gator's in Oakdale still had a half-dozen Darkness @ $19.99 a couple hours ago. And a bonus Smoke still lingering in the cooler, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts at least week or so in the outskirts, I paid $25 yesterday in Monticello.

Hi-Way. Those areas 30 minutes or so out of the city will be getting their allotments at least into Thursday.

That is the one I figured and in fact, is it the only one in Monticello? Either way, they were all out by the time I got there. However, scored some at Westside and Corborns (may mean Cashwise in St. Michael has some too) in Albertville.

I was waiting until Thursday because that is when another store told me they would get it, but I should have known better since Albertville had Wet on Tuesday as well. Glad I read this thread and saw you got it in Monticello, made me go out and check and it paid off. I never expected for anyone to mention a city out this way.
