    Three Philosophers I enjoy around Christmas too, but I know its not a 'holiday' beer

    Stating the obvious but Sucks is pretty good, and I do have an affinity for good quads and dubbels especially St Bernie's Abt 12 and Ommegang Abbey Ale.

    Leinenkugel's Snowdrift Vanilla Porter is one of my favorites. Celebration is also great. New Glarus Coffee Stout and Capital Brewery's Winter Skal are others that I enjoy

    I dont like many of the Christmastime beers, but Delirium Noel is fantastic. I feel like I have an affinity to the Belgian Christmas ales over the American ones.

    Most American Christmas beers are "ad hoc" styles.... many breweries do a different recipe year to year, never repeating themselves.

    Nearly all the Belgian Christmas beers are Strong Dark Ales (or Quads) with very few exceptions.

    Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale.
