I've collected a ton of stickers over the years and am finally trying to figure out what to do with them. Any suggestions besides putting them on beer fridge?
Did you do a search of this forum? It seems like someone asked that question about a year or so ago. I remember there were a lot of suggestions, but I don't recall what they were. Seems like one was to plaster them all over a rolling tool box.
Mine go on the beer fridge door, and my ice chest. Not very original I know, but thats where I put them. Lightman
I go to the craft store and buy magnet sheets and make magnets out of your stickers. this allows you to have them for life. I also make magnets out of really cool beer labels (i.e. Abyss, Huna, etc.)
I've been saving labels for a while...The magnet idea is great.. How did you affix them to the magnet material? Also did you do anything to the labels beforehand? Like laminating or something to protect them?
They make sheets of magnetic material that is adhesive backed. I have a stack of them that are pre-cut to business card sizes. It trims quite easily to fit it to whatever shape you need.
Joshjv is correct. I use the adhesive ones for the labels and the regular ones for the stickers. I did nothing to the labels before hand. Kept it simple.
Slap them on a skateboard or lamp shade. They actually sell lamp shades in crafts stores that have a peel-away paper backing so you can adhere/decorate them with anything you want. I have a Duchess de Bourgogne bottle that I drilled and turned into a lamp. I affixed some beer labels to the shade.
Start homebrewing and stick them on your fermenting bucket/carboy. That's where I've been putting mine. Once one fermentor gets filled with stickers, get another fermentor for more stickers--plus that'll give ya another reason to have more beer in the house.
