Under $10 for all but Blazing, which is just under $11. I bought two 4-packs of Fortunate Islands at Bevmo Carmel Mountain today for $9.49 each.

I bought a case of Fortunate Islands after having it on draft for the shop I work at. We sold out in a day. Good job, guys. I just told everyone it was a session IPA though.

Nice! Thanks for the support & glad to hear it's doing well. I'm not particularly attached to one descriptor or another for any of the beers. Since we tend to favor hybrid styles, there really aren't readily available descriptors anyway, so I'm happy with whatever gets the point across. Hoppy wheat, session IPA, hoppy pale ale...whatever works.

Or in the case of Orderville - the pain in the ass beer that we're never f#ck!ng making again.

[and I'm not saying if that was close to an actual quote]

i grabbed a 4 pack of fortunate islands at whole foods. not a style i ever drink but like my old friend pixiesfanyo (who refuses to guess which character from his past i am) says it's more like a session IPA and it's really good.

I stopped by the brewery on Saturday and picked up a few 4 packs. I was at Iowa Meat Farms on Saturday and the full lineup of cans was in the walk-in cold room (i.e. beer room). I got a 4pack of Fortunate Islands there for $11

Grabbed a 4 pack of each at Olive Tree Market in OB.
$9.99 for each and $10.99 for BW.
Then minus 10% for being in the beer club there. :grinning:

I got to visit Modern Times' tasting room shortly after they opened. The beers are all very solid and the tasting room is a must see. If you're in SD and anxious to try something new, put this one in your plans for sure. You wont be disappointed.

Picked up some Black House today and I will say it's an amazing beer. I hope you like coffee if you buy it thought because it is very coffee forward.

Do you know if they are planning to distribute to the Los Angeles area?

They have announced that they will be doing so, but not until 2014 if I remember correctly.

Maybe Alex Tweet can drive it up there himself, and bring along some shirts to hand out.

Correct. The tentative plan is mid-January. It'll all be dictated by how fast cans sell down here though. The faster they sell, the longer it'll take us to get up to L.A. I'm very eager to begin distribution up there, though, since I grew up in Los Feliz/Silverlake. So I'm highly motivated.
