    Finally got my hands on a Pliny the Elder, my wife's and my favorite DIPA, in bottle. We are DEFINITELY spoiled with PtE on drafts here in Philly. This tasted slightly different. A bit more bitter and certainly not as fresh (bottled only 3 weeks ago). Still a great beer. I mean, can't expect any less from #3 in the world right?

    I like Night Tripper and Imperial Mad Hatter (which I haven't had in awhile though).. Dragon's Milk and Pilgrims Dole are pretty solid.. but yeah they come off as weak overall compared to other Michigan breweries, IMO..

    the only pumpkin beer I like more than this was Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash. ST Pumking is fantastic, though.
