Founders Backwoods Bastard Release?

Odd, since I bought two 4-packs there on Tuesday. I think they got it in that morning and were sold out by 8:00pm that night, so maybe she just wasn't working that day and missed the shipment entirely.

 

Seeing lots of it in South and West burbs. Lots easier to find than last year. I've got my stash that should last the winter.

 

Places I've been to in Chicago are breaking them up and selling them per bottle. Any spot in Chicago selling them as 4 packs?

 

It's all relative. The store where I bought two 4 packs last year was already sold out when I called an hour ago. But I was able to get the single 4 pack I was looking for this year from its sister store, so alles gut.

 

Got it from Vav's Binnys last night. came out to like 14.47 w/tax

 

I haven't found any place that is breaking them up.

 

Prestige in Westmont did last year -- and sold for 8 bucks a bottle.

 

Sorry, I meant this year. Last year I only saw single bottles.

 

plum market ann arbor will have plenty this coming Tuesday 11/5.

 

15.99 armanetti in aurora.. Not surprised with the price they usually up the price a bit. I passed luckily I already got some at a decent price

Weird. I never got an email saying they got it in. Usually they're pretty good about e-mailing new releases.

I just got a notice that Founders just released this today. I'd like to see comments from those who have tried this particular brew. Worthwhile?
