Beers you regret drinking?

Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock, DFH 90 Minute IPA, SN Bigfoot Barleywine... I regret all three (though I am willing to give Celebrator a second chance in the future, as I had a similar experience with Hop Devil which is now a personal favorite).

 

I drank 4 Chardonneighbor of the Beasts within a week or two of purchasing them. 4 of 450 or so bottles released. This was before I acknowledged the concept of buying beer without consuming it right away. As I build my cellar now, I really regret doing this.

To echo some other posts, I don't regret having had them on the whole, I just think I would have appreciated drinking them down the road more than I did when I was at the very beginning of my craft beer days. Oh well.

Why why why do people think its good to put that much heat in a beer?!

 

Seems that a good many of you struggled with reading the OP. The query wasn't, name a shitty beer you didn't like, it was, what really great beer did you not enjoy because you were too fucked up to savor? For me, pretty much any beer I've that I've cracked after getting home from the bar at 3 am. Always seems like a great idea, but never does much for me other than make the hangover worse.

It doesnt taste like beer, it tastes like peppers, and I thought it was delicious. I already had a nice buzz, so I am sure that helped with the heat

Brewdog hardcore ipa. The only hardcore thing about it was the amount of sugar I tasted.

Right. It's by no means awful but what makes people mad is that all their brothers-in-law who used to drink Heineken love #9 and see it as the pinnacle of craft beer. It's fine, it's made a lot of converts, and a hot day in a craft beer desert it tastes like the nectar of the gods. People gotta lay off.

 

All world-class. Confused by this post.

Did an epic pumpkin beer blind tasting in 2011. If it was good, it was there. Drank SO much pumpkin beer. Haven't had one since.

Side note: Pumking won decisively.
