Grumpy's NE just posted this on Facebook today:

"Colorado flood tap relief begins now!
Stop in for special brews from Odell, Left Hand, Boulder, Breckenridge, New, Belgium and Oskar Blues. Proceeds from each beer sold will go to help those affected by the Flooding in CO this year.

    Win a Fat Tire cruiser!

*100% of Oskar Blues sales will be donated."

Curious to see what OB they are tapping. Also, didn't know you could serve out of state beer if the proceeds go to charity.

Too lazy to call, but also interested which OB is on tap if anyone finds out; please post

They have Dale's Pale cans at all three stores. 100% of the product was donated by the brewery, 100% of the proceeds benefit a relief charity.

When you say "all 3 stores", are you referring to all 3 Grumpy's bars? Or do you have a store affiliation that you're referring to?

They just slapped a firkin of O'Dells 90 Shilling Raspberry on the bar here at Grumpies on Snelling in Roseville. At least I think that's what it is.

Just tried the Firkin. I should have just had a third Darkness instead.....

Weird I thought it was pretty darn good. Had a nice chat for a few minutes with the O'Dell rep. Really nice guy.

Generally you can't not sure what is going on there.

Not sure if it's 'weird' or not, just didn't prefer it. I thought it was really 'earthy'. Probably just a shock to my palate after drinking Darkness.

Fair enough, I really enjoyed it, I thought the citrus of the hops worked well with the blackberry.

I think after a couple darkness though I would probably not love it as much.

I'm pretty sure that Oscar Blues will be here sooner than anyone anticipates. :sunglasses:

Wow I sure hope so, if I could pick up Deviant Dales and Ten Fidy every week I'd be a happy camper.

I wouldn't read anything further into this than good dudes making a good gesture for a good cause.

I just visited a friend in Denver, and picked up a 6 pk of Mama Yella and a 4 pk of Ten Fidy for $8.99 each.

Also, I love the fact I was able to do this at a Target store. Even better yet, employee discount.

Maybe someday we'll be able to do the same in MN. Maybe.

Is 8.99 for Ten Fidy a normal price in Colorado?

That is insanely low for Ten Fidy... Even local and even after an employee discount.
